Chicken wing dip is the perfect appetizer for a football party, backyard picnic, or holiday meal. You can dip anything from tortilla chips to carrots into this scrumptious dip and munch away in enjoyment. This version of chicken wing dip made with Ralph’s Righteous Scorpion Sauce from Mild to Wild is creamy, flavorful, and packed with spice.
- 2 medium boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 2 – 4 tablespoons Ralph’s Righteous Scorpion Sauce
- 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced thinly
Slice the chicken breasts into strips, and season them with the salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a skillet, and add the chicken to the pan. Cook for about 10 minutes or until the chicken is no longer pink in the center.
Let the chicken cool until you can handle it comfortably. Then, shred it thinly.
Combine the chicken, blue cheese dressing, cream cheese, and 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese in a bowl, and stir well. Add the hot sauce based on taste. Scorpion Sauce is quite hot, so even using 2 tablespoons will result in a pretty spicy chicken wing dip.
Spread the dip into a baking dish. Top it with the remaining mozzarella cheese, and place it in a 350 degree F oven. Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Top with the sliced green onions, and serve immediately with the dippers of your choice.
This recipe makes about 10 servings, but it’s easy to double or triple if you’re expecting a big crowd. Enjoy!
